Birthday Party For Jesus & Resurrection Celebration
The holidays are always a fun time for children. Here at Grace we have a special celebration during Sunday school at Christmas and at Easter. The Birthday party for Jesus is in early December. The kids play games and do crafts, and as a mission project they can bring birthday presents for baby Jesus to be given to a local shelter for teen moms. The party is topped off with birthday cake and candles and singing to Jesus. At Easter we have a Resurrection celebration. The children learn the true meaning of Easter through games, books and video and create some great Easter projects to take home. The cookies and lemonade are usually a big hit too! These parties are both a fun part of the holiday seasons at Grace.
